Shay Lynn started singing/writing songs and playing guitar when she was 7 years old. By the age of 8 she remembers her father taking her and brother to bars where she did not hesitate to get up on stage to perform, and from then on Shay's desires to be in the music spotlight escalated. And so with hard work and determination and a few hard knock lessons along the way, the strong Country Independent Indie Star busted her britches to make her name be known in order for her dreams to become a reality in the public's eye. Through the years Shay applies herself as a soloist artist in Utah. She connects her swing in performing at Fairs, Festivals, Rodeo's, Weddings, Social Gatherings, and even winning four times in a row in 1991-1995 Singing Contests. Her childhood influences were: Merle Haggard, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Janis Joplin, Linda Ronstadt and so many more. But Shay's biggest influences presently are Wynonna Judd and Miranda Lambert.

Backing her music passion up includes the Spot On talented "The Dusty BackRoads Band". With Drummer/Manager/ Husband Robert (Stixx) Wiechert by her side, they boot scoot and boogie they're Indie Country power throughout the world. The Sharp Shooter crew of Country Music, Shay Lynn & The Dusty BackRoads Band music is aired on many Indie Radio Stations in 50 US States & 43 Countries.
